Tumamoc Hill research stationthe worlds first & oldest restoration ecology projectwas built in 1903 by the Carnegie Institute to study how desert plants SURVIVE and THRIVE under extreme conditions. Inspired by the desert, Kore Press plans on doing the same with the communal effort of friends. We are iso at least 10 friends (or teams!) to climb and commit to raising $200 in the month. Whether you choose to ascend every day or just once, your sponsorship supports your goal. Let’s make a difference in our own bodies and help the Press at the same time! |

Greetings!Want to get in shape and help Kore Press meet a financial challenge in March? You can burn calories AND raise money for a very important cause by walking 3+ miles and climbing 730 feet as many times as you can. You have 31 days to do it. Each climber’s challenge will be to raise $200 in sponsorship for walking Tumamoc Hill. My goal is to walk to the summit 20 times (covering 60+ miles), and to ask 10 friends to pledge $1/climb ($20/max/person). We can strengthen our legs and help Kore Press mentor the next generation of women writers, publish books, and stimulate civic dialog with thought- provoking theater. I hope many of Kore’s local and ambulatory fans will join me in the Tumamoc Hill-a-thon!
with warmth and enthusiasm,
