 University of Arizona’s School of Theater, Film and TV is sponsoring Pan Left’s youth summer media camp by allowing us to use their high-tech media lab for editing. The youth summer camp is a part of Pan Left’s Community Education Program, which provides media literacy and production training to community members, free of charge. Watch our web site and this newsletter for more upcoming courses this fall. This Pan Left program is funded in part by the Kresge Tucson Initiative and Tucson Pima Arts Council.
The recent merger of the School of Theatre Arts and the School of Media Arts enables the U of A to offer students comprehensive training in the art and the business of story telling. Actors, directors, cinematographers, production designers, producers, production managers, editors, technicians, and film and theatre scholars will now be working, learning, and creating together in a rich and challenging environment.
