August 28, 2010- Speaker Diana Gabaldon CHARACTER AND VIEWPOINT
Diana Gabaldon, author of the award-winning, #1 NYT bestselling Outlander novels, vists with us to discuss Character and Viewpoint. Diana will provide practical, indepth instruction on how fiction writers can make the best choices in creating characters and handling viewpoint in order to put original yet realistic people into fiction.
When: 4th Saturday of each month from 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM. Coffee and mingling at 9:30 AM, program starts at 10:00 sharp.
Where: El Parador tropical Restaurant, rear room, 2744 E. Broadway Blvd, Tucson.
There are four meal choices at each meeting, including vegetarian. You may also request a chef’s salad.
Reservation are due at 10:00 Am the Wednesday prior to the meeting. Cost is $20 for chapter members, $25 for non-members. Lunch is included.
Guests may attend a total of two meetings, after that chapter membership is required in order to attend. All members must be at least 18 and must also be members of RWA National.
