SPECIAL SCREENING OF THE LADY IN QUESTION IS CHARLES BUSCH
Monday, September 19th, 7PM
The Lady in Question is Charles Busch
In anticipation of Abingdon Theatre Company’s 2011 Gala on October 24th, we invite you to spend an evening with Charles Busch! Abingdon Theatre Company presents a very special screening of The Lady in Question is Charles Busch. Filmmakers John Catania and Charles D. Ignacio chronicle the “drag to riches” story of one of the true greats in entertainment. Countless directors told Busch that he was “too gay” to make it as an actor, but that didn’t stop the master of impersonation from becoming a cult phenomenon and one of the most luminous figures on the New York City stage. Come for the movie and stay for a special Q&A and a glass of wine with Charles Busch after the show.
