Presenting the American West

THANKS WWA! TRUE WEST magazine thanks WESTERN WRITERS OF AMERICA (WWA) for the Lariat Award that recognizes our support of Western Writers of American and the genre. As our contributing editor and WWA ROUNDUP Editor Candy Moulton says about us, “It has a new, edgy style and remains an important market for those of us who write about the American West.” We look forward to another 50 years of working with the talented members of WWA.

  1. Edith Moore Pratt

in 1912 there was the “Axe Murder case” of the josiah Moore family in Essex County, Iowa when several people were killed in their beds overnight. There has been some recent publications on it, movie & other. It was also written up in earlier in 1 of the True West Magazines (or perhaps the other one put out similear) before 1970. These were relatives of mine Any recalls of it? Edith Moore Pratt
