New Open Subs Deadline: March 5, 2012
Kore Press has extended its deadline for open submissions until AFTER AWP, March 5, 2012. We seek interesting book-length manuscripts in poetry, memoir, short fiction, fiction and creative nonfiction, written by women, in English, that reflect the highest standards of literary quality. We are especially keen on work that is genre-bending and/or experimental. Each manuscript receives a short critical response.
What writers are saying about submitting work to Kore Press:
“THANK YOU so much for these careful, wise and spot-on comments.”
“Thank you for your thoughtful response to my poetry. I found your letter very encouraging and will continue to ‘plug away’ at my art.”
“Thank you for your generous time and comments regarding my manuscript. The observations are very astute and helpful. I will use them in further revisioning.”

“If there’s a book that can cure what ails us, then it’s Kelcey Parker’s amazing story collection, FOR SALE BY OWNER. These are fantastical, ingenious, deeply imagined and felt stories about the homes, families, jobs, lives that we dream about, that we disappoint and are disappointed by in equal measure.”
