University of Arizona Poetry Center Presents ARTISTEXTS: Curated by Johanna Drucker
On exhibit April 2, 2012 through June 29
Internationally renowned author, book artist, and visual theorist Johanna Drucker has selected more than 20 artist books created in a deliberate dialogue between design and writing. The exhibit features works by legendary artists such as Tom Phillips, Walter Hamady, Emmett Williams, Dick Higgins, Madeline Gins, Johanna Drucker, John Crombie, and many others.
Tucson Poetry Festival: Workshops and Panel Discussion

The Tucson Poetry Festival, celebrating its 30th anniversary this year, is an annual event that brings poets to Tucson for readings, writing workshops, and panels. This year’s events will take place on April 6 and 7 at Geronimo Plaza and the UA Poetry Center. Join us at the Poetry Center on Saturday, April 7 for a panel discussion and writing workshops with Eduardo Corral, Karyna McGlynn, Ander Monson, and Patricia Smith. Early Bird Rates for Poetry Off the Page expire after April 18, so what are you waiting for?
