         Rico’s love of storytelling is infectious and this true, epic story and whirlwind journey of Rico’s unique encounter with John Dennis Smith, the legitmate, illegitmate son the legendary, King of Rock ‘n’ Roll, in Cave Creek, AZ.  This is the journey of that unique encounter; Rico’s love of reading, exploring and traveling allured him to many parts of the globe including Vilnius, Lithuania where he taught English; Stoke-on-Trent in the United Kindom where he studied and played American Football for the Staffordshire Stallions; Mexico to study Spanish, enjoy the culture and fish the open sea.  Rico has undergraduate degrees from Universitities of Boise State (played for the BSU Broncos), Grand Canyon, Stafforshire and a Master’s Degree from Thurderbird School of Global Management (T-Bird).  He and his wife live in Scottsdale, Arizona and San Carlos, Sonora, Mexico.
