“Why The Arts”- an “encore” presentation on KTTU-TV 18

We are happy to announce that the “Why The Arts” one-hour special which aired on KMSB-TV April 25 has been scheduled for an “encore” presentation on our sister station, KTTU-TV18, Sunday, May 31, 5-6 PM.    Good opportunity for those who may have missed it to catch it this time.   Here’s the scoop.   Join Fox 11 KMSB as we salute Southern Arizona’s arts community with a one-hour prime time special entitled Why The Arts.   Created in partnership with a number of local arts organizations, Why The Arts celebrates the many ways in which museums, theater, art, dance and music play a key role in making Tucson a special and unique place in which to live as well as to visit.   Additionally, the show includes interviews with a number of community leaders who emphasize that arts and culture are a prominent component in the economic development and growth of the Old Pueblo.   FOX 11 and its Why The Arts partners believe our community offers an abundance of arts and cultural opportunities making it a community brimming with creativity and innovation.    Why the Arts?   Because the arts are critical to our quality of life, to the education of our youth and to the growth of our local economy.
